Thinking of Getting an iPod This Week? HOLD THAT THOUGHT!

I have not been blogging about macs or iPods for a long time now, but it doesn't mean that I don't care. I figured there isn't much relevant news for you guys, my readers. But this, this is big news everyone can relate to.

Mark your calendars for September 6th (September 5th if you're in the US) as Apple will be having a media event to announce something(s), and everyone in the macweb seems convicted its a whole bunch of new iPods.

Rumored: new touch screen video iPod that resembles the iPhone, a new iPod nano, new product(red) shuffles and maybe, just maybe more details about iPhone availability at this part of the world (please oh please Apple! say its Jan '08...and please say it will be unlocked!)

I urge you not to buy any iPods before looking at the new models when its launched this week. Remember the prices will always be around the same region as the current models, unless Apple changes the models so drastically that they need new price points. You wouldn't lose anything by waiting anyway, so... just wait.
