die proudly when it is no longer possible to live proudly

twobees

Death has always been an interesting subject for me.

The more prevalent kind of death for me is in relationships. Nothing in the past few years have convinced me that it is not the worst. If you ask me, I think it's part of growing up, but I would love to deny it as much as possible. At least when loving someone till physical death, you have the lingering after taste of that love.

I'm not trying to be deep, I'm just being honest to myself more than anything. I've been struggling with growing up I guess (yeah, I know, insert short jokes here)

I guess there's no point in lying to yourself that things will get better - relationships are like any living thing. They live and they die.

I'm pretty sure this is not a confusion with the terrible final weeks of my semester.

  1. so true, so true.

Believe it or not, I too, realized this "death of a relationship" just last week, and acted upon it, before it fragmented me any further. I was difficult, but much needed.

I guess like all deaths, the best way to deal with it is to cherish the good times, bury the bad ones.

But then again, nothing ends nicely, that is why it ends right?

  2. Better to have enjoyed a second of it I guess...

Sometimes I wonder if we both live parallel lives (not that parallel when you take into consideration your amazingly "happening" life, but most of it anyway)

  5. i love the title of your post, and that post as well.
whatever happens, the point is that we make the right decision, even if it's the hard one.
and remember that no one is truly alone.

  6. This reminds me of that Hitz commercial that goes something like "It's not the years in your life that counts, but the life in your years".

We always try our best to maintain the relationships around us. Some work, some don't. But like I've always said to you, just do your part and your best. God is our judge.

You've been a great friend and leader to all of us and we're always here to support you. So go and live proudly! Keep moving forward! lol
